20+ YEARS PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

RUNNING THE GAMUT (PUN INTENDED) FROM BLANK CANVAS CREATIVITY TO PRESS-READY FILE PREPARATION

My gamut began when I was still a student just after 9/11/01 with the above editorial design assignments. Even today they are some of my favorite pieces and they opened a gateway to a progressive and successful career path. There were many years spent expanding my design aptitude by developing editorial, advertising, catalog, branding and packaging designs. I honed my creative proclivity to thrive within tight deadlines and acquired an extensive skill set that includes mechanical file preparation, image manipulation and art direction of designers, photographers, illustrators, copywriters, engineers, etc.

With that accrued knowledge and a fortuitous shift into a product design position I became a textile designer and color specialist. In that role I developed a multitude of home décor repeating prints based on trend reports and mood boards that I compiled. Presenting those reports and boards to assembled design teams was routine. As my capabilities increased, I became adept at translating 2-dimensional characters into 3-dimensional soft goods. I found that I quite enjoyed conceptualizing, art directing and creating illustrated scenes as well. It was also my responsibility to oversee the soft goods production process of my products to ensure everything was manufactured according to specifications.

When the opportunity arose to launch my own company I seized it and that has created an avenue to offer the full spectrum of my accumulated knowledge to a wide range of diverse clientele. I relish all stages and genres of graphic design and with the adjustment to an online only presence I am able to focus my energy upon whatever interesting projects come my way. My preferred specialties follow but it is not a comprehensive list of abilities and all design requests are considered.
